Meet Karin.

Meet Karin, a passionate artisan and the creative force behind Studio Kaa, where art and design come together in perfect harmony. With a background in teaching and the Royal Academy of Art, Karin finds inspiration in the beauty of everyday life. Her keen eye for detail allows her to transform these simple, everyday moments into abstract works of art using the printmaking techniques of linocut and woodcut.

Karin's experience as a creative leader at IKEA has further shaped her approach to design. Drawing on Scandinavian principles, she learned how to create striking, functional designs with minimal resources. For Karin, it's about appreciating what's around us, making the most of what we already have and finding joy in the things we create.

After a hiatus from hands-on creation, Karin has rekindled her passion for drawing, printing and design. In her studio she combines her love of art and interior design, bringing a touch of beauty to both. Her work celebrates the simple things that make life special and encourages others to see the world with fresh eyes and to embrace their own creative potential.
