    Meet Anja

    Wood sculptor

Looking for a unique and captivating art experience? Look no further than Design Studio Artkid, where Anja Jonker, a skilled and passionate artisan, creates stunning wood sculptures that are sure to amaze and delight.

Anja's love of sculpting in wood comes from the challenge of giving old or cut wood a second life, breathing new life into each piece through her art. Her inspirations are drawn from the beauty of nature and the people around her, and she loves to tell stories through her sculptures, each one infused with meaning and emotion.

With a special affinity for fairy tales and stories, Anja takes these timeless tales as a starting point for her work, crafting enchanting sculptures that are both visually striking and thought-provoking. But her art is not only meant to be admired - it's also designed to challenge and engage her audience, encouraging both children and adults to interact and play with her sculptures in new and exciting ways.

One of Anja's most beloved creations is the Fairy Garden, a magical world filled with sculptures that tell a story and invite visitors to explore and discover. From the hidden mermaid that can only be found with a viewer, to the chance to experience the feeling of waves while lounging in a hammock with a mermaid tail, the Fairy Garden is an immersive and unforgettable experience that will transport you to another world.

Come for a unique art experience, be enchanted by Anja's beautiful sculptures and let yourself be transported to another world.
