Get ready for two consecutive 2.5-hour sessions filled with creative adventures and discoveries.
Your journey will begin with an escapade to the bustling market of Place du Jeu de Balle. Coralie will accompany you in your quest for the perfect ceramic piece to restore with kintsugi. You'll have the opportunity to search among hidden treasures, uncovering the true gem that you'll bring back to life. Once the market tour is complete, you'll find yourself at the workshop just a few steps away.
Over a drink, you'll prepare to give a second life to your precious find. You can choose a ceramic object from the market, bring your own item, or opt for one of the wonderful pieces from the host's collection for an additional fee.
Kintsugi is not just a repair technique, it's a philosophy. You'll understand that the breaking of a ceramic doesn't mean its end, but rather the beginning of renewal and continuity in its use.
And now, it's time to take action! For each object, the expert will guide you in diagnosing the necessary restoration.
During the first session, you'll piece together the scattered fragments, fill in the chips with putty, and let your piece dry for 12 hours. On the following day, during the second session, you'll have the pleasure of applying vegetable lacquer and metallic powder. You'll then fix the pieces, giving a new soul to your precious ceramic.
After some final touches, you'll leave with your magnificent object in hand! The repair will allow your ceramic to regain its full beauty and functionality.
This workshop will have opened the doors for you to repair and elevate your favourite objects!

C'etait top ! Coralie est tres patiente, explique clairement, et l'ambience est tres agreable. Je recommande chaudement pour le Kintsugi et des qu'un autre atelier sera disponible je reviendrais avec grand plaisir. Merci encore pour ce weekend formidable.
