Create your own textured earrings

Step into the shoes of a jewellery designer alongside Frédérique.

This passionate craftswoman will welcome you warmly to her workshop. You'll start by getting acquainted with her and familiarising yourself with the studio. She'll take the opportunity to teach you the basics of jewellery making, including the tools, techniques and metals involved.

Then, it's time to get stuck into the practical side of the workshop! Frédérique will first guide you through the design of your earrings: choosing from round discs (available in 9 sizes), various wires (round, square, in various thicknesses), or strips (from narrow to wide). 

You'll also pick your favourite metal for the creation: copper, brass or silver.

Next, you'll shape the chosen wire to bring your jewellery to life, customising the size with a mandrel before soldering it. Frédérique will then lead you through each step of the making process, from cutting out the metal sheets with a jeweller's saw to personalising with a texturing hammer – ball, line, point... You'll have a plethora of options to craft a completely original pair of earrings.

After the essential finishing touches, you'll leave with your beautiful pair of earrings, which will undoubtedly take pride of place in your jewellery box.
