Enter Ana's workshop and explore the art of tufting in a hands-on workshop that introduces you to the tools and techniques of this craft. You'll begin with an introduction to Ana and her brand Maria Maya, before she gives you an overview of tufting, its tools, and essential health and safety practices.
Next, you'll learn how to handle the tufting gun and have a chance to practice your technique and get a feel for the craft. If you've shared a design with Ana beforehand it will be set up and ready for you to start turning your idea into reality. Alternatively, you can choose one of her designs. With a selection of colours at your disposal, you'll pick a palette to bring your piece to life.
Then, it's time to dive into tufting, creating your unique rug under Ana's guidance.Â
Once complete, you'll finish your piece by gluing its backing, ready to take your handcrafted rug home!Â
