Step into Ellen's inspiring studio! You'll kick off by getting to know Ellen and the story behind her unique brand. Then, you'll dive right into the tools of the trade. Choose what you'll work with â will it be a tote bag or a t-shirt?
Get inspired as Ellen shares textiles from around the globe, giving insight into her values ââand sustainable ethos. With the scene set, it's time to get hands-on! Experiment with mark-making, letting your creativity flow as you explore different techniques and create your own design.Â
Next, you'll make your stencil for your screen print and select colours from a vibrant palette. Then it's time to screen print your chosen product for real, Ellen and her team will be on hand to help as needed. Â
Finish the workshop with a mini-gallery, displaying everyone's prints and totes â a perfect end to an inspiring day!

Meet Ellen
Designer & Artist
Ellen Rock is a London-based print artist and designer whose work uses painterly prints to open conversations through symbolism. Her art goes beyond aesthetics, aiming to spark conversations and create connections across different cultures and perspectives.
Ellen collaborates with communities in Indonesia, Guatemala, and Nepal, blending digital and traditional techniques to celebrate global craftsmanship. She prioritises ethical design and respects handcrafted processes, making each piece a blend of modern design and cultural artisanship.
In addition to her artistic work, Ellen leads workshops and lectures across London, sharing her passion for traditional methods and inspiring others to see art as a means for meaningful impact. Her studio is a welcoming space where creativity meets tradition, and each workshop reflects her belief in the power of art to connect and inspire.

He had a great time and we learnt all the basics of screen-printing. But most of all Ellen was so nice and we had a really good Saturday afternoon! And we got very cool t-shirts made by ourselves on top of that! Very much recommended, thank you so much Ellen!!!
