In this 1.5-hour workshop, hosted by Lorenzo, attendees will discover the craft of ice cream making, from ingredients to the final product.
The workshop begins with a tour of Lorenzo's kitchen. Here, participants are introduced to the various ingredients and machinery essential in the gelato making process, offering them a foundational understanding of the craft.
Lorenzo, with his extensive knowledge, explains the unique characteristics and the differences between gelato and sorbet, from ingredients and texture to the methods of preparation. In addition to practical skills, the workshop also covers the history of gelato, providing a cultural and historical context to this beloved dessert.
