Beyond baking, E5 collaborates with refugees in their Poplar Bakehouse, offering them a chance to rebuild their lives through the therapeutic power of bread-making. Profits are invested in associations supporting refugee communities in the UK, fostering empowerment and a sense of belonging.

Sustainability is at the core of E5's values. They proudly own Fellows Farm in Suffolk, transforming previously intensively farmed arable fields into vibrant hubs of biodiversity and regenerative agriculture. The farm supplies the bakery with a weekly harvest of cereals, vegetables and fruit.

Step into E5's enchanting world housed under two arches in Hackney. Inside, you'll find spacious kitchens, a traditional baker's oven, and a remarkable French stone mill. Flour is expertly crafted on-site, the foundation of their exceptional bread.
