Meet Adi Staempfli.

Urban mushroom grower

London

Discover the fascinating world of Adi, a passionate advocate for sustainability, mycelium, and mushrooms. With a background as a social worker, Adi brings a unique perspective to his artistic endeavours, driven by a desire to make a positive impact on the community.

Adi learnt from the best trained mushroom controllers in Switzerland and has over 40 years of foraging experience before he started growing his own mushrooms. His passion for sustainability shines through as he shares his insights and techniques, empowering others to embrace the potential of mycelium and mushrooms.

Adi runs his workshops at the Remakery, where you'll be greeted by a vibrant community space with a shared garden. Here, the focus is on creating opportunities by reusing surplus materials and promoting sustainable practices.

Join Adi in a workshop or on a foraging walk, where mycelium and mushrooms take centre stage. Experience his kindness, passion, and unwavering commitment to sustainability. Engage with a cultivator who not only embraces the wonders of mycelium but also strives to make a positive impact on the world around him.
