Meet Liza, an Amsterdam based artist and perfumer with an alchemistic approach and a passion for materiality and tactility.
With a background in product design and styling, Liza's love for scents started at an early age. She collected scents from the garden and kitchen, and even carried a pack of vanilla sugar sachets in her pocket. Eleven years ago, she created her own brand of scent products under the name Liza Witte.
Liza's talent extends beyond scent products. She also works with ceramics and wool & makes soap, body oils and incense. Her genius for creating scents has led her to create bespoke fragrances for hotels and exhibitions.
Visit Liza's studio, where creativity meets organised chaos. Liza loves to have interested people over to share her passion for fragrances and tactile art. Don't let the messy studio fool you – Liza's talent and expertise will leave you feeling inspired and in awe.
Experience the magic of Liza Witte's art and discover the world of scents through her unique creations.
We took a workshop with Liza, as my girlfriends really likes perfumes. I'm generally interested in how things work and for us both it was a very nice, interesting experience! Liza was very nice and welcoming. She took a lot of time to explain very enthusiastically the different types of scents and substances that are used in perfumes. It was an intense smelling experience and we smelled about 40 different smells, which is kind of overwhelming, but even at the end, we found ourselves curious to discover even more. We ended up with some perfume of our own making, which was very interesting, as the smell kept developing the days after. And: it was quite good! We can recommend joing Liza in her cosy workshop place and passion for scents. Thanks for a nice afternoon!
