Next, Philip will cover the essential health and safety guidelines. This is a vital step in ensuring that everyone can work safely and confidently throughout the session.

Following the safety briefing, you'll be introduced to the basic tools used in metalworking. Philip will use demonstrations and practical exercises to familiarise you with each tool and its function.

Once you've mastered the tools, you'll move on to learning the basic techniques of metalworking. Philip will guide you through the basics to ensure you have the skills you need to start your project.

Then comes the exciting part: creating your own object. Using the design you've shared before the workshop, or choosing from one of the templates provided on the day, you'll begin to craft your piece. Philip will be with you every step of the way, offering tips and advice to help you achieve the best results.

At the end of the workshop you'll have a finished piece of metalwork to take home.
