  • Unleash your creativity with Stephania!

    Over two consecutive sessions, let yourself be guided through the art of ceramics as you craft your stunning ceramic lamp. The first session, lasting 2 hours, will be followed by a second session of 2.5 hours the next day.

    Upon your arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed with a drink to enjoy a convivial moment. The ceramist will take the time to introduce you to her studio, where you'll become acquainted with the essential basics of ceramics.

    Next, you'll be initiated into the slab technique while contemplating the design of your unique lamp.

    Time for hands-on work! After preparing the clay, you'll start shaping your masterpiece. Unleash your inspirations to create a piece that's both aesthetic and functional.

    On the second day, Stephania will guide you in assembling the slabs together. You'll refine the details and add the finishing touches to make your lamp perfect.

    At the end of the workshop, you'll entrust your creation to the artisan, who will take care of the drying, double firing, and glazing process. You'll also coordinate the pickup details directly with her.

    Ultimately, you'll be eager to hold in your hands your magnificent table lamp, ready to illuminate and enhance your favorite space!

    Note: Please be aware that the lamp's electrical components are not included.

    The workshop price includes all the days outlined in the description. When booking through the Wecandoo website, you only need to schedule the date of the first session. Any subsequent sessions should be arranged directly with the artisan. If the sessions are consecutive days, the rest of the workshop will automatically take place on the day following the first reserved day.

    Practical information

    To participate in this workshop, please plan to wear comfortable clothing suitable for the practice and cleaning at the end of the session. It is also advisable to have short nails and tied-up hair. If possible, consider bringing your own apron.

    Please note that there is a risk of breakage during the firing process. These are inherent uncertainties of the craft, and the artisan cannot be held responsible.

    Meet Stephania, a passionate ceramic artist who turned her love for pottery into her profession.

    Her journey started as a business and competition law attorney, practicing for many years at the Bar. Her transition to the world of ceramics began when she worked as a legal counsel at a hospital. It was there that she discovered her true passion for the art of ceramics, prompting her to pursue further training through workshops and courses.

    Her ardor for this art quickly took precedence, becoming the central focus of her life. She became a resident artist in a dedicated studio and eventually established her own creative space, complete with all the necessary tools to breathe life into her inspirations.

    Eager to share her self-taught expertise accumulated over the years, the ceramist started leading workshops, allowing other enthusiasts to explore and nurture their creative talents. For her, it's a way to share her profound passion while fostering moments of camaraderie through crafting everyday objects.

    Her studio is a true haven, nestled in the heart of the city. Located in a shared space, it's surrounded by a beautiful garden that infuses an atmosphere of serenity and inspiration into every creation.
