For over two decades, he taught Product Development at Artesis University College, guiding aspiring designers on their own creative journeys. He also collaborated with international universities, bringing his expertise and insights to diverse projects.

Lieven's artistic talents transcend traditional instrument design. With a background in graphic design and promotion, he brings a unique perspective to his work. His creative vision led him to explore serigraph printing on t-shirts and promotional accessories, seamlessly blending his passion for music and visual arts.

Driven by a commitment to the well-being of musicians, Lieven focuses on creating ergonomic music instruments. Collaborating with musicians who struggle with backaches, he crafts instruments that prioritise comfort without compromising on exceptional sound quality. Currently, he is working on the Kelsaccoustic—an instrument featured in the captivating soundtracks of the Flemish series, "Undercover."
