Join Dirk for an immersive day of woodworking and design where everyone can learn woodworking techniques by making their own bespoke piece of furniture! Whether you're a beginner or a bit of a do-it-yourselfer, this workshop is designed to take you step-by-step, with no previous experience required.

The day starts with a friendly chat where you choose the projects you want to make: a table, a stool, a shelf or even a game - everyone can use their imagination to make their own unique object. Dirk will then guide you through the process of turning these ideas into wood, teaching you how to use various machines such as a circular saw, band saw or sander in complete safety.

Depending on the size of the group, you will be divided into small teams of 2 or 3 to encourage co-operation and sharing of skills. Working in a group is an opportunity to learn from each other and strengthen your project while having a creative and social time.

Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to take well-deserved breaks and enjoy the comfortable rooms of De Blikfabriek, where you can even have lunch. At the end of the workshop, you'll go home with your own unique creation, proudly made with your own hands! It's a practical souvenir and a great way to share wood, craftsmanship and creativity.
