2 hours of discovery with Martine

Knowledge of floral art and horticulture

An immersive experience and your own magnificent bouquet of fresh flowers

The workshop in detail

  • 2h
  • 15 years min.
  • 4 to 12 participants
  • Up to 30 people for a privatization
  • Unleash your inner flower Picasso by using nature as your palette!

During summer, you'll be warmly welcomed and invited to explore the lush surroundings of the fileds. While, in winter, the workshops will take place inside. But don't worry, whathever the season, Martine will introduce you to the farm and share her passion for flowers and plants, as well as her eco-responsible approach. You'll get a behind-the-scenes view of an organic farm!

You'll dive right into the essentials, covering topics such as planting schedules, fertilisers, detecting diseases and pests, and appropriate treatments. You'll be initiated into these different aspects to better understand the needs of flowers and optimise their growth.

Next, it's time to put your newfound knowledge into practice. You'll embark on a flower-picking adventure, learning to recognise different species and varieties. The expert will guide you in the art of creating a spiral bouquet. In winter, you'll learn as much but always indoors :)

Along the way, you'll receive valuable information about the longevity of flowers in a vase, drying methods, and the steps involved in harvesting seeds if you're interested in cultivating your own flowers.

You'll also explore the best flowers to grow at home, based on seasonal availability. You'll discover annuals, biennials, and perennials, as well as bulb varieties that can add a floral touch to your outdoor space.

At the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with practical tips, personalised advice, and, of course, a stunning bouquet of freshly arranged flowers that you've carefully composed. Now, you can showcase your floral creativity at home and enjoy the beauty of flowers all year round.

    Meet Martine

    Florist and Gardener

Before delving into the world of plants, particularly flowers, Martine had several enriching professional experiences in large companies. However, a few years ago, she embarked on an evening course where she found a space to express her creativity, learn various techniques, and gain confidence. This led her to take the leap and enter the extraordinary realm of flowers and design.

Through her selection of fresh and dried flowers, beautiful foliage, and berries, Martine brings out the true beauty of weddings, home interiors, and businesses with her unique creations. She has honed her skills through internships and experiences in stores, immersing herself in the fascinating world of floral artistry.

In addition, Martine is a gardener who assists urban dwellers in cultivating their own small piece of land, reconnecting them with seasonal cycles and promoting sustainable approaches to food and decoration. Adopting an eco-responsible mindset is of utmost importance to her.

With boundless passion, Martine shares her knowledge through workshops that revolve around the art of floral design and gardening. Participants are inspired to embrace the beauty of nature and learn practical skills in creating stunning floral arrangements. Martine's workshops are a wonderful opportunity to explore the world of flowers and plants while fostering a sustainable and eco-friendly mindset.
