During this workshop with Brad, Xavier or Sylvie from the Epsiloc team, you will make a ceramic brunch set on the wheel for unforgettable Sunday lunches and unique brunches.
At first you will learn the concepts of ceramics and the different steps to create an object. The team is eager to share their passion and their knowledge about this know-how, so don't hesitate to ask them any questions!
You will then start working with the clay so that the air bubbles escape. Afterwards, installed at your wheel, you will learn the gestures of the ceramists to make a bowl and an eggcup.
For the decoration, you can either bring your own ideas or be inspired by Claudia's creations.
At the end of the workshop, the artisan will store your work so that it can dry slowly. The pieces will be fired and glazed. You can pick them up a few weeks later.
You can then proudly use your handmade ceramic set with your friends or family over a nice brunch!
Workshop location
The studio is easily accessible by public transport.
This place is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Italian born Claudia has been a ceramist since 2008. It has been the common thread in all her adventures, she has never stopped practicing it!
Through her travels across countries and years, she has been inspired by all her experiences, both personal and professional.
Between her PhD in physics from Cambridge, her experiences in social work in South Africa and her training as a coach, Claudia has so much to pass on! Jovial and friendly, she practices ubuntu on a daily basis: a notion close to the concepts of humanity and fraternity.
She welcomes you with joy in her beautiful workshop shared with other artisans.
It was a stress relief workshop.
Claudia was very pleased to welcome us. She was very nice and patiently responding to our questions. We had a pleasant experience attending the workshop.
