The workshop in detail

  • 3h30
  • 3 to 8 participants
  • 15 years min.
  • Discover the fine art of jewellery making with Idil!

As soon as you arrive, this passionate artisan will give you a warm welcome before explaining her background and the theory behind her skills.

Then it's up to you! During this workshop, you'll take a step-by-step approach to creating an engraved medallion using the lost wax technique.

Under Idil's guidance, you will learn the technical gestures required to shape and engrave your piece.

Your medallion will then be cast in 925 silver and can be personalised with the option of gold plating.

You can collect your engraved medallion one or two weeks later, once it has been set.

You'll leave with memories of this magical experience and a desire to get your creation back!

    Meet Idil

    Marble artist and Jeweller

After training at Arts & Métiers and then in ceramics at the Waterloo Academy of Fine Arts, Idil opened her boutique in Saint-Gilles in January 2024.

Of French, Belgian and Turkish origin, Idil combines all these influences in her creations.

Inspired by architecture and traditional motifs from around the world, she now creates her own jewellery. With a strong commitment to slow design, she favours limited collections and one-off pieces.

Idil also uses fair trade materials and works closely with local artisans in Brussels.

Come and meet her and immerse yourself in a world where each piece is an invitation to dream and travel!
