This workshop is open only to those who have already had an initial introduction and wish to advance in this craftsmanship.
Discover the profession of leatherworker thanks to Keren and her team, all as passionate and friendly as each other!
During this introduction to leatherworking, you will learn how to make your own large shoulder bag, in a beautiful and huge workshop located at the heart of Brussels.Ā
First, you will enjoy a tour of this beautiful workshop, while learning the basics of leatherworking and the essential tools used on a daily basis.Ā
You will then select your favourite type and colour of leather for your creation. The leatherworkers will teach you how to cut the leather from a pattern, and you will then make your bag step by step: machine sewing, saddle stitching, fitting the rings, finishing touches...Ā
This workshop will allow you to put yourself in the (leather) shoes of a leatherworker, working the material to produce a large and beautiful shoulder bag, which you will of course get to take away with you!
Workshop location
Karen and her team's workshop is located just next to the Brunard bus stop (line 60), or a 5-minute walk from the Churchill metro stop (line 3).

Meet Keren
Leatherworker
Passionate about her craft, Keren likes to share and pass on her expertise, with great skill and enthusiasm as a teacher.
She has a large and beautiful workshop. Her workplace is a true haven of peace, located at the heart of Brussels, and cohabited by numerous machines and various tools for working leather. A huge bay window opens onto a lovely private garden with an intimate terrace.Ā
Keren works leather with passion and creativity to create beautiful and practical everyday objects!
