Do you dream of a colourful pillow to dress up your home? We have the perfect technique for you: tufting! This technique is very satisfying and allows you to create all sorts of textile objects such as decorations or a soft pillow, like during this workshop.
After some theoretical explanations on tufting, Yann will teach you the basics of this technique. From the preparation of the frame to the finishing touches, including the design and the position of the tufting gun, this technique will hold no secrets for you.
As far as design is concerned, you can count on Yann to come up with beautiful proposals. You can also choose between several wool colours for an ultra-customised pillow.
With your tufting gun, you will weave your pillow in a fast and fun way, guided by Yann's advice.
Get ready to be amazed and leave with a fluffy pillow that will spice up any interior!
This workshop is offered in several languages simultaneously. The artisan will adapt the language of the workshop according to the participants present.

Meet Yann
Textile Designer
Born in France, Yann studied design in Nantes before specialising in virtual reality during his master's degree.
With a diploma in his pocket, he felt the need to create, with his hands! He then discovered tufting in a self-taught way. Gradually, he explored this technique and perfected his art. He plays with colours, shapes, but also volumes! His 3D creations are unique in their kind.
In 2021, he moves to Brussels and collaborates with a tufting artist.
Together they create large pieces and give initiation classes! These first classes gave him a taste for the transmission and sharing of his passion.
Calm and creative, Yann welcomes you with a smile in his beautiful workshop for a tufting exploration session!

Yann a Ă©tĂ© Ă l'Ă©coute de mes envies et idĂ©es. Il a su me proposer un dessin qui matchait bien ce que j'avais en tĂȘte. Il m'a conseillĂ© sur le choix des couleurs et m'a donnĂ© des idĂ©es supplĂ©mentaires au cours de la rĂ©alisation du coussin. Le cĂŽtĂ© doux et calme de Yann Ă©tait trĂšs apaisant et apprĂ©ciable. Super expérience avec Yann qui est trÚs accueillant et passionné par le tufting ! On a su réaliser 3 designs de styles complÚtement différents grùce aux explications de Yann et de son aide trÚs précieuse pour le traçage :) On recommande 1000x de faire cet atelier !

We loved every second of it, and came out with beautiful designs to take home <3 Yann is welcoming, fun, charming, attentive and very creative! He helped us with the sketches and guided us with everything. It was an absolute pleasure - definitely recommended! Thank you Yann ^^

My mum and I attended this workshop, and although we were excited about it, it was even more fun than expected! Yann explained everything very well and gave a lot of useful tips and advice for our design ideas. The tufting technique was easy to learn and Yann walked us through each step in a super friendly, calm and clear manner. Having our designs finished in just 4 hours was super rewarding, and we would both warmly recommend this tufting workshop! Might even want to attend again ourselves as well. đ Thank you, Yann!
