Immerse yourself in the world of ceramics with a private beginners wheel throwing class taught by the talented Kesem!Ā
When you arrive at Kesem's welcoming studio in Amsterdam, you'll be greeted by a relaxed atmosphere perfect for all skill levels. Kesem will guide you through the basics of wheel throwing and share tips and techniques to help you shape your creations with confidence.
Enjoy complimentary tea and biscuits as you learn how to centre the clay and create up to three unique pieces, from bowls to mugs. Kesem will also explain the firing and glazing process so you can take your finished piece home after it's been expertly fired in the kiln. Your creation will be ready for pickup roughly two weeks after the workshop.Ā

Meet Kesem
Ceramist
Kesem is an experienced ceramic designer, life and creativity coach and clay therapist.
With over 20 years' experience, she creates unique handmade ceramics in her Amsterdam studio, drawing inspiration from urban life and nature. Her workshops offer a fun, hands-on introduction to clay, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to develop your skills.
Beyond ceramics, Kesem supports individuals and professionals as a life and creativity coach, helping them to overcome personal and professional challenges. Her approach combines empathy with practical tools to encourage growth and self-expression. In her clay therapy sessions, Kesem uses the tactile experience of working with clay to help participants process emotions, reduce stress and explore self-discovery in a safe, nurturing space.
