Join Kesem for a private two hour beginners wheel throwing class for two! This personalised lesson is perfect for immersing yourself in ceramics in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere - no experience needed!
In the studio you'll alternate between the wheel and the decorations. Kesem will guide you through the basics, from wedging the clay to creating beautiful shapes. Each of you will make up to three pieces which will be left to dry before being expertly glazed and fired for collection in two to three weeks' time.
This workshop is a wonderful experience to share with a friend or loved one and makes a fantastic gift for any occasion.Ā

Meet Kesem
Ceramist
Kesem is an experienced ceramic designer, life and creativity coach and clay therapist.
With over 20 years' experience, she creates unique handmade ceramics in her Amsterdam studio, drawing inspiration from urban life and nature. Her workshops offer a fun, hands-on introduction to clay, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to develop your skills.
Beyond ceramics, Kesem supports individuals and professionals as a life and creativity coach, helping them to overcome personal and professional challenges. Her approach combines empathy with practical tools to encourage growth and self-expression. In her clay therapy sessions, Kesem uses the tactile experience of working with clay to help participants process emotions, reduce stress and explore self-discovery in a safe, nurturing space.
For Kesem, creativity is more than making art - it is a journey of personal growth and emotional expression.
