Join Sofie in her charming workshop for an exciting introduction to leatherwork, where you'll create your very own leather card holder from start to finish.
The workshop begins with a presentation of the different types of leather available, allowing you to choose the perfect material for your creation. Once you've chosen your leather, Sofie will guide you through cutting the pattern to form the basic structure of your card holder.
Next, you'll assemble the pieces to bring your card holder to life. Sofie will then introduce you to the sewing machine and demonstrate how to attach the pieces together for a strong and professional finish.
Throughout the session, Sofie will share her passion for sustainable leatherworking and show you how to create responsibly and with care for the environment.
At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a beautiful handmade cardholder and a newfound knowledge of leatherworking techniques

Meet Sofie
Leatherworker
Sofie is so passionate about fashion that by the age of 16, she was already enrolled in a specialised school. She loved making clothes but her evening shoe making classes at Syntra Tongeren uncovered a real passion for leather. She completed her training in Morocco, where she learned more about creating bags. Since then, she has become a passionate artisan in designing and processing leathers bag.Ā
Throughout her work, she always makes choices in favour of sustainability. Her production is only triggered by customer demand and she uses reclaimed leather from the industry. She wants to create an experience that showcases the craftsmanship and the quality of her leather bags. Her goal is to convey her vision without losing sight of what is important to her.
Her brand is powerful through her designs, a beautiful balance between minimalism and detail.Ā
This high-spirited artisan welcomes you in her workshop shared with other craftsmen : a serigraphist, a jeweller and a painter.Ā
Whether it is through her work, a glass of good wine, a cup of coffee or some dance moves, Sofie is a truly passionate artisan.Ā Ā
