After cutting the fabrics according to the pattern, you will assemble them with the sewing machine. You will also learn how to cut and sew the straps. You will add some nice finishing touches to your creation and that's it! You will leave this workshop with your new dungaree dress!

    Wecandoo - Meet Eléonore

    Meet Eléonore

    Seamstress

As somebody who has had a lifelong obsession with clothes, Éléonore loves to dress up and is a pro at discreetly stealing clothes from her mum's closet!

As a teenager, she almost becomes a fast-fashion shopping addict. But it was also at this time that she discovered sewing and the pleasure of wearing unique pieces made by her own little hands. Helped by her mother, who was passionate about sewing (and who was certainly tired of seeing her clothes disappear from her closet), she learned to use the sewing machine until she just couldn't get enough of it.

She dreamed of entering the fashion industry, but since that is often synonymous with exploitation and pollution, she chose to launch the Couture Club in order to raise awareness and help others see the impact of textiles on our precious planet. For her, sewing is a way of rethinking her consumption patterns and switching to slow-fashion through awareness of the time, cost and complexity of making clothes. And then wearing clothes and accessories that you took the time to make yourself is a source of immense satisfaction!

Today, she can't wait to welcome you to her own extremely pleasant, bright studio in the courtyard of the Grand Hospice in Brussels!
