Welcome to Crease Studio, where you'll be immersed in a hands-on workshop led by Kate and Rosemary, two passionate artisans dedicated to ethical fashion.
They'll start by telling you about their journey from university to starting their sustainable brand, emphasising their commitment to using eco-friendly materials.
Then it's time to get hands-on. You'll learn about the fabrics they use and why sustainability is important. Kate and Rosemary will guide you through the use of the sewing machine, making sure everyone feels comfortable.
Then: the main activity - making your own silk scrunchie! You'll choose from a range of dead stock fabrics to ensure nothing is wasted. With guidance from Kate and Rosemary, you'll measure, cut and sew your scrunchie.
At the end of the workshop, you'll be able to proudly display your finished creation.

We loved our workshop with Rosemary! A truly authentic 'behind the scenes' experience of a fashion designers studio. The silks are beautiful and really high quality, and we learnt loads of tips and tricks. Rosemary gave us templates to take home so that we could make our own scrunchies again in the future. And the scrunchies we made on the day are gorgeous!!!
