GROUP WORKSHOP: Join Nick for a team-building experience where you'll learn the basics of brewing beer. This workshop will give you the opportunity to gain an understanding of the brewing process, explore the ingredients used in beer and be directly involved in making your own batch.
The workshop starts with an introduction to the mash paddle brewery. Nick will explain the basics of brewing, covering the main ingredients - hops, malt, yeast and water - and their role in creating different styles of beer. You'll also get an overview of the brewing process so you know what to expect before you start.
Nick will then take you on a tour of the brewery. You'll see the equipment used in brewing, such as the mash tun and fermenters, and learn how each piece contributes to the process.
Then it's time for you and your team to get hands-on and start brewing. Working together, you'll follow the steps from mashing the grain to boiling the ingredients. You'll add the necessary ingredients at each stage and monitor the process under Nick's guidance. This is a practical, team-based activity that will help everyone understand how beer is made.
Once the brewing is complete, you'll have the chance to enjoy a freshly brewed beer and take some of your own batch home.
