Come and meet Johanna in her gorgeous South West London studio space, in Battersea. You'll have the opportunity to craft something beautiful using polymer clay, and have a lot of fun doing it!
Johanna has an array of inspirations for you to rifle through, giving you a chance to come up with a personal design. You can also take a look through her own work for her jewellery brand Ballota Nigra.
Once you've chosen your design, you'll learn how to prepare polymer clay, bake it to make it flexible, paint and sculpt your pieces, and create 2D and 3D objects.
Then, the experimenting begins. You can create a brooch, jewellery, a magnet, or just a cute little object! Johanna created this workshop to allow you to really get to know the polymer materiel and create whatever you feel inspired to while having fun with the group. You have the chance to embellish your pieces with mark-making using jewellery tools or adding gold plating, or glitter, transforming your individual pieces.
Johanna's workshop is a calming environment, great for making new friends, or bringing a group! Fancy creating matching bridesmaids' earrings, or a Mother/daughter making session in a peaceful environment?! This is the workshop for you!
At the end of the session, you can take home your creations, elegantly packaged in a special box prepared by Johanna.

Join Johanna, a passionate jeweller with a love for design and graphics, for a mindful session of jewellery making. Johanna's studio in Battersea is shared with other female creators, a bustling hive of creativity!
Having been creative and experimental with art since childhood, Johanna established her graphic design studio once she qualified. With a deep passion for art, design, and jewellery, it was only natural that she also founded her jewellery brand, 'Ballota Nigra', allowing her to blend her various passions and talents.
Her signature style combines pieces she finds with polymer and resin, and importantly, sets no limits on creativity, enabling her to offer unique and original pieces with a delicate design.
