Explore your creative potential alongside Aurore and leave with a beautiful ceramic vase, shaped by your own hands!
Upon arrival, you will discover the workshop and be introduced to the world of ceramics, its tools, and techniques.
The practice will begin with the preparation of the clay, a crucial step to ensure the escape of air bubbles. You will then learn the slab, pinch and coil techniques, a process that will allow you to shape a unique and personalised vase.
Step by step, you will work the clay and shape your vase. This immersive and stimulating experience will allow you to express your creativity while working with Wallonian stoneware, a high-quality local raw material.
You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing drink while working on your piece.
After cleaning and storing the materials, you will entrust your creation to the artisan who will take care of the drying, white glazing, and double firing. You will arrange the details of retrieving your piece directly with her.
At the end of the workshop, you will be eager to collect your unique and personalised vase, a tangible memento of your unforgettable experience in the world of ceramics.

Aurore is a joyful and determined artisan, committed to living her passion!Ā
After studying hotel management, administration and tourism, she had a successful international career in the luxury hotel industry. Driven by curiosity and passion, she also studied interior design, which led her to discover clay, ceramics and pottery, a fascinating and wide-ranging craft.
In 2020, she took the leap, leaving everything behind to fully dedicate herself to her passion. She established her own startup and welcomed her first students in June 2021.
Driven by her ecological values, Aurore prioritises sustainability in her craft. She uses predominantly rainwater in her studio, recycles clay, and supports local suppliers for her materials.
Her style is minimalist and zen, drawing inspiration from the rich tradition of pottery in Japan, where it is considered a timeless art form. Her cosy little studio serves as a haven of tranquility, where Aurore warmly welcomes participants and shares the therapeutic benefits of working with clay.
What makes her even more endearing is her love for animals! Her dog, Fluffy, is always by her side, ready to greet participants with gentle cuddles!
