Bring your creativity to life and transform clay into two personalised plates!
From the moment you enter, Aurore will warmly welcome you with enthusiasm and passion in a creative and inviting atmosphere. After a brief theoretical introduction on ceramic tools and techniques, it's time for hands-on experience!
The initial encounter with clay will be captivating. You'll take pleasure in preparing the clay, ensuring it is ready to be shaped. With careful attention, you'll shape two slabs of locally sourced and high-quality stoneware clay.
Then comes the long-awaited moment of creation! Step by step, you'll be guided through the process of moulding two unique ceramic plates. You'll be focused and diligent, proud to witness your creations take form in your hands.
Once your plates are shaped, it's time to decorate them. You'll let your inspirations run wild, using various techniques such as botanical stamping or engobe application.
To top it all off, you'll enjoy a convivial and relaxed moment with the ceramic artist, as a complimentary beverage will be provided.
After cleaning and tidying up the materials, you'll entrust your pieces to the artisan, who will handle the drying, white glazing, and double firing process. You'll arrange the details for retrieving your pieces directly with her.
At the end of the workshop, you'll eagerly anticipate collecting your two personalised plates, bearing your unique touch, story, and creativity.
