Visit a mushroom farm with Quentin or a member of his team of local and ecological mushroom producers.
The visit begins at the production site: 10,000 square metres of incredible categorised cellars. You will learn all about the life of the mushroom and the circular process used by the team to produce them.
They will give you all the behind-the-scenes details of mushroom production: the stages of pasteurisation, inoculation, incubation, and fruiting.
This exciting workshop will allow you to discover the secrets of mushroom production and to learn about this original form of urban agriculture. In addition, you'll leave with 300 g of mushrooms of your choice: enough to cook a delicious omelette to enjoy at home!

Quentin's mushroom farm is located about a 10-minute walk from Brussels-West Station.
This place is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Meet Quentin
Mushroom and Microgreens Producer
Quentin produces mushrooms, microgreens and aromatic herbs.
He works with a fantastic team in a magnificent but hidden away location in Brussels: the magnificent Abattoirs d'Anderlecht cellars, a century-old basement that covers 10,000 m²!
Their approach is local, ecological and circular! In actual fact, they are associated with two Brussels-based organic breweries, recycling some of their beer production waste to help produce delicious mushrooms. They also recycle bread waste from a chain of organic stores. Nothing is wasted, every last bit is used!
Quentin and his team are as enthusiastic as they are captivating - they love passing on their expertise, sharing their approach, and allowing others to discover top-quality produce!
