The workshop in detail

  • 3h
  • 5 to 12 participants
  • 15 years min.
  • Dive into the exciting world of risography with this workshop and create a creative and participatory printing technique.

The session starts with a warm welcome from Meriem, who will introduce you to the basics of risography. She'll explain what makes this technique so special, including the vibrant colours and unique halftone effects that add a new dimension to your creations.

You will begin with an introduction to collaborative creation. Each participant will be invited to contribute to the development of the poster by contributing their ideas and collaborating with the other participants. All the necessary materials will be provided on site and the creation will be entirely analogue, encouraging imagination and originality.

Once you have gathered your ideas, Meriem will guide you through the different stages of preparing the poster for printing. You'll learn how to divide your design into layers of colour, an essential step in risography. Meriem will advise you and help you optimise your project.

After the preparation, it's time to print! You'll have the opportunity to print about twenty copies of your collective poster in different colours on different types of 120g paper. This process will allow you to see how the colours overlap and interact, creating unique and dynamic visual effects. The workshop takes place in a friendly, interactive atmosphere that encourages discussion and collaboration. Meriem will ensure that each participant is able to express themselves and take an active part in the creative process. She will circulate among you to offer personalised advice and answer your questions.

At the end of the session, you'll go home with your beautiful prints. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity and discover the magic of risography.

So come and join Meriem for a unique artistic adventure and leave with collaborative works that you'll be proud to show off!Note: This workshop can be held in either French or English.
