Have you heard of spinning rings? These tactile pieces are not only beautiful, but also provide stress release! They are inspired by ancient Tibetan Meditation traditions. Join Charlotte for a two-hour workshop focused on the craft of spinning ring-making.
The workshop begins with an introduction to Charlotte, an experienced and approachable ring-maker who will guide participants through the process. Attendees will learn essential skills such as how to measure and cut metal accurately, the art of soldering to join metal pieces, and various methods to texture the metal for an aesthetic finish.
Additionally, the workshop covers the important steps of cleaning and polishing metal, skills that are vital for creating a professional-looking ring.
By the end of the session, each participant will have the opportunity to take home their handcrafted spinning ring, a personal creation that demonstrates the skills and techniques learned during the workshop.

Jeweller
Introducing Charlotte, an exceptional jewellery artist. With a degree in jewellery and silversmithing, 10+ years of experience, and a travel bursary award from RSA that took her to China to explore her craft, she's gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Charlotte sources her own high-quality materials, creating unique pieces that meet very high standards, selling her jewellery online and also taking private commissions. Not only is she a skilled craftsperson, but she's also a friendly and kind person who loves to share her passion with others. Charlotte has been teaching jewellery and silversmithing for years and loves to pass on her skills.
Charlotte's space in Hackney, East London, is a bustling creative space, and she finds inspiration in the community of makers around her.

Charlotte is skilled, calm and kind. She allows room for people to have choice in their designs (where applicable) and patiently supports people during the entirety of the process, rather than stepping in to take over if they're taking too long. The end product is glorious! I was not expecting to be able to create something so professional - a testament to Charlotte's teachings and guidance. Loved the workshop and love my new piece.
