Once your design is complete, you'll learn how to cut and grind the glass to your vision and discover the satisfying precision of working with this timeless material.
Next, you'll dive into the copper foil technique, wrapping the edges of your glass pieces to prepare them for assembly. Under Heather's guidance, you'll master the art of soldering to fuse your design into a cohesive creation.
Finally, it's time for the finishing touches! You'll polish your piece and, if you like, add a patina for extra character. Heather will also help you prepare your decoration for display, so it's ready to hang in your home!

Her work is a blend of nostalgia and nature, inspired by the charm of childhood toys and the beauty of the natural world. Heather carefully selects her materials, sourcing all her glass and supplies from trusted British companies, ensuring quality and supporting local businesses.
She's also passionate about sharing her skills and loves to help others unlock their creative side. Whether you're a complete beginner or someone who wants to try something new, Heather's enthusiasm and approachable style make her workshops both fun and inspiring!
