  • 1 to 2 participants
  • 16 years min.
  • SPECIAL WORKSHOP: enjoy a special experience with the craftsperson and create something unique with the help of personalised support!

During this one-day workshop, Manon will show you how to make a metal and wood table.

Everything will start with getting familiar with the workshop as well as some theoretical explanations and safety instructions about metal work.

You will start with a drawing to understand and visualise your future furniture.

Then, you will follow through the different steps of making it, from taking measurements to the finishing touches, including metal cutting, TIG welding, preparing and assembling the wooden shelves.

TIG welding is a precision technique that results in clean welds with a beautiful finish.

After assembling a few parts, your wood and metal furniture will have taken shape!

Table dimensions: 55cm long, 40cm wide and 54cm high.

At midday, you will take a break with Manon. Remember to bring your lunch!

    Wecandoo - Meet Manon

    Meet Manon

Meet Manon, metalworker, and proud to be !

Manon trained in metal work at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art (Art and Design) in Paris. She trained and became passionate about metal sculpture. With her diploma in hand, curious and enthusiastic about metal work, she also followed a course in forging and is currently training in ironwork.

In her daily life, she also likes to work with ceramics. These two skills and materials help her every day to create beautiful aerial creations, first on paper, then in clay and finally in metal.

Her beautiful shared workshop, nestled at the back of a beautiful courtyard, is a space in which metal is delicately transformed, to our utmost delight.
