The workshop in detail

  • 2h30
  • 2 to 4 participants
  • 15 years min.
  • In a delightful 2.5-hour culinary journey, hosted by Tara, participants are welcomed into the world of Asian cuisine. The workshop takes place in Tara's private home kitchen and begins with an introduction to Tara and the kitchen, setting a warm and inviting tone for the upcoming culinary adventure.

Prioritising safety and comfort, Tara first guides the group through essential health and safety practices. Her expertise shines as she demonstrates each cooking step, ensuring participants are engaged and informed throughout the process. The first part of the workshop is dedicated to mastering the delicate art of making pork gyoza and sesame prawn toast. These starters are not just for learning but also for enjoying as a snack, offering a taste of what's to come.

As the workshop progresses, participants delve into preparing more complex dishes. They learn to make a vibrant slaw and an authentic pad Thai, two staples of Asian cuisine known for their rich flavours and textures. The experience culminates in a communal meal, where everyone gathers to enjoy the dishes they've created, accompanied by more wine.

Participants leave not only with new cooking skills and a deeper appreciation for Asian cuisine but also with a tangible reminder of their experience: Tara's cookery tote bag and recipes to recreate the magic at home.
