Make a set of two beautifully crafted coffee cups and coasters

Join ceramic enthusiasts Vinicius and Eliz in this fantastic 4-hour pottery workshop, where you'll create four stunning pieces of ceramics to take home.  

The workshop will be split into easy to follow stages. Beginning with an introduction to the art of clay, where Vinicius and Eliz will guide you through the fundamentals of the medium.

Now, it's time to prepare and wedge your clay on the wheel, with Vinicius showing you the perfect posture on the wheel. The more comfortable and stable you are, the better the throwing will be! You'll have a detailed demonstration on how to center, open, shape, and move the clay, giving you the skills and confidence to then try it yourself. Refreshments are available at this workshop should you like to have a break, so you can chat with your fellow creatives and share ideas.

Now, the magic begins as you start throwing your clay on the wheel, shaping it carefully into it's shape. This is a technique that you will be able to quickly improve with the careful guidance of Vinicius and Eliz. With the choice of four different products to create, including coffee cups and coasters, you'll have a range of stunning pieces to take home, joyful reminders of your day!

Once your creations are complete, they'll need to undergo the lengthly firing process, then you will be able to pick up your fired objects 2-4 weeks later. Please remember to collect them within 14 days from when you are notified.
