    Ceramic artist

Emily's journey started when studying 3D design in Bournemouth before working for 10 years as a stylist and a buyer, honing her eye for detail and aesthetics.

But it was in the world of clay that she truly found her calling. Emily's work is a testament to her dedication to ancient hand-building methods, a way of working that allows her to connect with the past. Her pieces exude simplicity and a touch of primitiveness, deliberately designed to let the texture and hues of the clay and glazes shine through.

Emily's approach to her craft is as natural as the materials she uses. She favours coarse stoneware and natural tones, creating objects that celebrate their imperfections, embracing the beauty of handmade artistry.

Step into Emily's workshop, and you'll be greeted by a bright and light shared space, where creativity flows freely.

Emily's character can be best described as knowledgeable and kind. Her passion for her craft is matched only by her eagerness to share her wisdom with others.
