Learn how to bake sourdough bread in a fun and friendly environment, thanks to Yannick, a passionate enthusiast who specialises in fermentation!Â
The workshop will kick off with a general presentation of the world of fermentation, a mysterious universe that truly fascinates Yannick. He will explain the basic principles of the fermentation process, before turning his focus to sourdough and then leading into the subsequent practical component.Â
He will then introduce you to the ingredients you will need to make your bread and show you how to shape and knead the dough by hand. And to round it all off: the baking!Â
Finally, you will leave with your delicious home-made sourdough bread, to enjoy at home, as well as 100 ml of sourdough yeast to try out what you have learned at home!
This place is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Practical information
The workshop is not heated, and for good reason! Yannick and his team ferment the lactos at room temperature and they don't want to rush these fermentations. The workshop varies between 15 and 25 degrees throughout the year. Dress warmly!Â
Meet Yannick & his team
Fermentation Specialist
It was in 2017 that Yannick decided to switch careers and start his own business, with a desire to share his passion for fermentation.Â
He wants to test all the possibilities that fermentation has to offer, moving beyond the popular classics such as beer, bread, or kombucha. He therefore performed various experiments with vegan charcuterie, miso, and even vinegar. A passionate convert, but also very socially engaged, he uses only local products.Â
His openness and his teaching ability allow him to transmit his passion through his own workshop, sharing all the mysteries of fermentation!
The workshop was super nice, hands-on and very interesting! It was a gift from my partner and we had a great evening learning about bread making. The best part is that you leave with new knowledge, a freshly baked bread and a bread to bake at home. Highly recommended!
