  • Enter Roger's friendly workshop, where the passion for bread reigns supreme!

    When you arrive, this passionate artisan will welcome you with warmth and good humour.Ā 

    The workshop begins with a friendly introduction to the world of artisan baking.

    You'll then dip your hands directly into the flour to make your own bread dough. Once you've done that, you'll go on to bake your own dough, following Roger's detailed instructions.

    During the break, you'll have the chance to taste different creations while chatting with the expert and the other participants.Ā 

    To round off this enriching experience, you'll make your own sourdough bread.

    Finally, you'll leave with your creation ready to enjoy, as well as some dough to bake at home and an explanatory leaflet, so you can't wait to impress your friends and family at your next meal!

    Coopain's studio is accessible by public transport : by train, stop at 'Thurn & Taxis', or by metro at 'Pannenhuis'

    This place is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

    It's a long love story between Roger, bread and his friends! 

    An active member of the cooperative since 2018, this passionate artisan works in collaboration with certified bakers and patissiers. 

    After starting with temporary studios on the outskirts of Brussels, they moved into their own premises in 2020.

    Their goal? To supply the neighbourhood with quality sourdough bread, while promoting their commitment to fair trade and artisanal baking. They use pure, organic and local flours, with no additives, to produce bread that is both healthy and authentic.

    Meet Roger, Simon and Thibault and immerse yourself in a world where bread is much more than just food: it's a true symbol of sharing and tradition!

    TrĆØs chouette atelier, ambiance dĆ©contractĆ©e, prĆ©cieuses informations. Andi Ć©tait trĆØs attentif Ć  nous aider et Ć  nous conseiller. Le pain Ć©tait (est encore) trĆØs bon, et la satisfaction de manger son propre pain est trĆØs rĆ©jouissante. Merci tout particulier Ć  l'effort de traduction en passant de l'anglais au franƧais et inversement. Super !

    The workshop was super nice, hands-on and very interesting! It was a gift from my partner and we had a great evening learning about bread making. The best part is that you leave with new knowledge, a freshly baked bread and a bread to bake at home. Highly recommended!
