2 hours of discovery with Hania

Knowledge in hand building

Your ceramic breakfast set

The workshop in detail

  • 2h
  • 15 years min.
  • 1 to 6 participants
  • Up to 20 people for a privatization
  • The workshop commences with an insightful introduction to Hania's journey and the ethos behind her brand. Her background in ceramic arts sets the stage for a comprehensive exploration of the materials used in this craft. Participants will gain an understanding of the different types of clay, each with its unique properties and possibilities, laying the foundation for their creative exploration.

Following this, Hania provides a live demonstration, showcasing her skill and the techniques involved in crafting ceramic pieces. This demonstration is not only educational but also serves as an inspiration for participants as they embark on their own creative journey.

The hands-on segment of the workshop invites attendees to learn the art of hand-building their own breakfast set. This practical session is designed to nurture creativity and skill, as participants shape and form their clay into functional art.

Adding a splash of colour to their creations, participants use coloured slip to paint their pieces. This personal touch transforms each item into a unique work of art. Post-workshop, Hania takes the additional step of clear glazing each piece. The final, fired creations are then either available for collection or can be conveniently posted to participants within two weeks.
