The workshop in detail

  • 2h
  • 15 years min.
  • 1 to 6 participants
  • Up to 20 people for a privatization
  • In this two-hour workshop, hosted by ceramicist Hania, participants are invited to discover the world of ceramics. The workshop begins with an introduction to Hania and her brand, providing insight into her journey and the ethos behind her creations.

Following the initial introduction, Hania shares her background in ceramic techniques, offering a comprehensive understanding of the materials used in the craft.

A key focus of the workshop is on understanding the different types of clay, a crucial aspect for anyone aspiring to delve into ceramics. This understanding is critical as it influences the texture, handling, and final appearance of the ceramic pieces.

Participants are then treated to a demonstration by Hania, showcasing her skill and the techniques that they will be employing.

The core of the workshop involves hands-on experience where participants learn to hand-build their own vases. This process is not only educational but also immensely satisfying, as attendees see their creations take shape under their own hands.

Upon completion of the workshop, the crafted fruit bowls are fired. Hania then applies a clear glaze, adding a professional finish to the pieces. Participants have the option to collect their completed creations or have them posted out to them within a two-week period. This workshop is not just an opportunity to learn a new skill but also to take home a personal piece of art, a tangible reminder of a creative and enriching experience.
